Solar Thermal Trainee Engineer

A new post created to assist the Product Manager (Solar Thermal), and to take on other assignments in building up the Company’s portfolio of renewable energy technologies, especially solar thermal at the commercial level.

Duties include:

• Discussing solar thermal projects with prospective clients;

• Conducting site surveys;

• Preparing estimates and quotations using our database system;

• Contributing on-site to installation work and delivering customer care;

• Conducting simple repairs and maintenance on installed systems;

• Developing new products and solutions, as part of our ongoing research programme;

• Documenting working procedures.

Training will be provided.

Based at Soltrac’s office and warehouse in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Qualifications: Candidates must be educated to A level or NVQ Level 3; would suit a recent graduate in engineering, renewable energy or related field.

Clean driving licence essential.

Salary: £12,000 - £15,000.
